Beulah Land Christian Academy HISTORY BEULAH LAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY was founded by the Greater Beulah Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor R. Paul Hollman. It is a childcare facility in which learning is the foundation. On August 3, 1999, the doors opened with five students and four staff members. The enrollment rapidly increased by the end of that year to thirty-four children. At that point the founders decided, that instead of just providing care for children ages two years to four years, to add infants, six weeks and older, and a kindergarten class. The building that was the original sight for the ACADEMY soon grew too small, and in the fall of the year 2000 the school was moved to its present site in the BEULAH LAND CHRISTIAN FAMILY LIFE CENTER. Soon after moving into the life center a First Grade Class was added. The A BEKA Curriculum was chosen as the vehicle of daily studies and learning for all children two to six years of age. It has been extremely instrumental in helping us live up to our school motto, which states, “Give your child a beginning with the end in mind . . .EXCELLENCE!” There are now eighty-nine students enrolled. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE To provide quality care for children regardless of race, color, sex, or national and ethnic origin in a loving and safe environment. To provide a Christian service to families and children of the community. To afford learning in an age-appropriate environment. OUR AIM To provide educational experiences of lasting value that will spiritually, physically, intellectually, socially, and culturally develop the total personality of each child.
