Sermon: “Put It On Layaway”
Rev. R. Paul Hollman, Pastor of Greater Beulah Missionary Baptist Church preaches on the subject “Put It On Layaway.” He tells a tell of how during humble times his mother would get outfits for him and his family on something called Layaway. When you buy an item on layaway you put it up and pay on it a little along and once you pay it off you get what you wanted without interest or other problems involved with getting things right now. He touches on how we don’t need certain things right now and the problem comes when you give up too much to get it right now. Now is a time for the Lord to build you up so that you can handle his blessing. Three things you need to remember are that 1.) you got to pray on it, 2.) check on it and 3.) pay on it.
